The Mouse and the Christmas Cake - Unknown

This is a charming rhyme about a mouse and his house atop the family Christmas Cake.

It was written and illustrated by an unknown author in 1858.

For a children’s tale it’s very short (about a mouse’s tail in length)

so I won’t give any of the details away,

but it’s brilliantly illustrated

and (for Kindle) it’s free to take.
