In my reviews I try neither to persuade nor to dissuade others. I believe the art of reading is a very personal experience and that my opinion should not intrude upon others enjoyment. I merely state how I felt while reading and I will allow others to decide for themselves. This is why I will not present a play-by-play description. I will only offer a few basic details to help you decide if what I present is worth your time.
Star Wars, Episode I: The Phantom Menace - Terry Brooks, George Lucas This was a well written adaptation from the original script which it follows very closely. This novelized version offers us a few new scenes about Anakin and a bit more of the Sith back-story which does prove helpful and entertaining.

The writing style is a bit dryer, slower paced and more evenly tempered then I would have liked for an action novel but it is very well written and enjoyable to read.
