In my reviews I try neither to persuade nor to dissuade others. I believe the art of reading is a very personal experience and that my opinion should not intrude upon others enjoyment. I merely state how I felt while reading and I will allow others to decide for themselves. This is why I will not present a play-by-play description. I will only offer a few basic details to help you decide if what I present is worth your time.
Howl's Moving Castle - Diana Wynne Jones Absolutely wonderful! A story for any true magician 'of' heart.

We have the perfectly dysfunctional magic family;

Sophie, a bewitched young girl aged before her time by the Witch of the Waste, and with a strong casting ability of her own...

Howl, a mysterious magician of great power, often times, more charmingly childlike than man.

Markl, the young apprentice who is not quite sure who's in charge...

And my favorite, Calcifer, the fire demon with attitude.

I dare you to not fall in love with this family's dynamic love for one another!
