In my reviews I try neither to persuade nor to dissuade others. I believe the art of reading is a very personal experience and that my opinion should not intrude upon others enjoyment. I merely state how I felt while reading and I will allow others to decide for themselves. This is why I will not present a play-by-play description. I will only offer a few basic details to help you decide if what I present is worth your time.
The Magician's Nephew - C.S. Lewis I've wanted to read this series since I was a child but I never got around to it. I decided now's a very good time. It took a bit of internet searching to locate the author's chronological listing for the series (I should have checked my GR friends first. It would have saved me some time.) ;)

Here's the reading list in chronological order:

The Magician's Nephew
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
The Horse and His Boy
Prince Caspian
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
The Silver Chair
The Last Battle

I'm very glad I began reading this series. Quite a good tale and very similar to the basic (Christian) creation story.
